Responsibilities
- Make operational decisions within the plant.
- Develop, lead, and train all employees within the department.
- Coordinate and supervise departmental activities daily.
- Ensure compliance in safety, environmental, and personnel issues that may arise.
- Monitor production schedule and meet requirements as scheduled.
- Help manage inventory on daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
- All other duties as required.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Previous experience in a supervisory role
- Working knowledge of non-ferrous metals
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to be organized with excellent time management skills.
- Ability to operate a forklift, skid steer, and wheel loader
- General knowledge mechanics.
